In our September issue, we announced a competition for our readers.

Local author Annette Hannah, who lives in Stanstead Abbotts, kindly donated a signed paperback copy of her novel, Dining at Davinci’s, and we gave one lucky reader the chance to win it.

The book’s canal boat setting inspired our competition, so we asked you to tell us about your favourite waterside spot in 50 words or fewer.
