Talk: Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking
Friday 20 November at 7pm
Nigel Copping Centre, 88 Sanville Gardens, Stanstead Abbotts, Hertfordshire, SG12 8GA

Join us on Friday 20th November, 7pm at the Nigel Copping Centre for an evening talk with a representative from The Clewer Initiative, an organisation working with churches and communities to raise awareness of modern slavery and help people recognise and respond to exploitation.

Modern slavery and human trafficking can be difficult to see, but they are present in communities across the UK. The Clewer Initiative states that more than 122,000 men, women and children are currently trapped in modern slavery in the UK.

This evening will provide an opportunity to learn more about the issue and the work being done to tackle it.

This is a free event and open to everyone.
