This year within The 3 Churches Benefice we will be having two outdoor Remembrance Sunday Services. Please do come along and join us on Sunday 13th November as we remember all those armed forces members who have died in the line of duty.

Services will be approximately 45mins and will replace normal Sunday Services this week. Please make sure you wrap up warmly for these outdoor services.

The fundraising Quiz Night for St John’s Church Tower Repair Fund will take place on Friday 14th October in the Great Amwell Parish Hall, 7pm for a 7.30pm prompt start. Tickets cost £15 and include a supper, which will be either fish/chicken and chips or a vegetarian option. Bring own drinks and glasses.

In support of Baby Loss Awareness Week (9th–15th October), The 3 Churches Benefice are having a special Service of Remembering for all those who have lost a baby or child.
Join this informal, reflective service starting 2pm on Sunday 9th October at St Andrew’s Church, Stanstead Abbots or attach a ribbon of remembrance to Our Memory Tree outside the Church.
In place of the scheduled 8.45am BCP Communion, a special service will be held in the evening. The details are as follows:

A Service of Prayer and Reflection remembering her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will be held at St Andrew’s Church, Cappell Lane, Stanstead Abbotts at 9.30am this morning (Friday 9th Sept.).
